We need you now, one day you may need us.
Most People think they will never need their Citizens Advice Bureau.

But what if:
  • You have to rely on benefits for income
  • You get bad service from a retailer or tradesman
  • You have a dispute with your neighbours
  • You have problems at work
  • You separate or divorce
  • Your elderly parents need care
  • You yourself become ill
  • You get into debt

Did you know?

Most people think that their Citizens Advice Bureau is Government-funded, and will always be there. However, our existence is decided year by year, depending on the finances and changing priorities of a number of sources.

Our diversity of funding sources enables us to provide a vital completely independent advice service to residence and workers across the borough, but there is no guarantee that we will always be there - without your involvement.

The following provide funds to the local CABx:
  • London Borough of Richmond upon Thames Council (made through the Council for Voluntary Services)
  • Local companies
  • Individual donations
  • Local charitable organisations
